We currently have permanent opportunities for a Animal Welfare Officer to join our Technical teams in Willand, Devon.

- The hours of work are 04:30am - 14:00pm, and the shift pattern:
- Week 1 Monday - Friday
- Week 2 Tuesday - Saturday
- The rate of pay is £15.61 per hour
Main Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities as an Animal Welfare Officer include:
- Monitoring deliveries of live birds, ensuring steady supply is maintained
- Check welfare status of birds as they arrive
- Report any welfare issues to relevant people
- Monitor and check operatives on the hanging stand
- Assist the Senior Animal Welfare Manager in maintaining training and assessments for the COC applicants.
Ideal Candidate: As an Animal Welfare Officer, you will have a passion for delivering high standards within your job role. You will be prepared to learn and work well in a busy, fast paced environment.
- You'll have a good level of English both written and spoken
- Be a good communicator
- Have good attention to detail
- Have a flexible approach to work
- Be willing to learn and attend required courses for this role
- Experience working in agriculture
