Job Title: Receptionist Salary: £23,300 - £27,650 Location: Cambridge Contract: Permanent/Full time (35 hours per week) This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy Reception team providing high levels of customer service to our visitors and colleagues. About The Role You will be responsible for welcoming all visitors visiting Cambridge University Press & Assessment. As part of this role, you will: Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors to ensure an exceptional reception experience and strong customer satisfaction. Manage core front-desk functions including switchboard operations, email inboxes, meeting room bookings, hospitality coordination, and administration. Oversee site access and security by managing badge systems for staff and visitors and promptly addressing any concerns. Coordinate bookings for pool cars, bikes, and parking in compliance with company policies and insurance requirements. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support operational efficiency and audit readiness. Collaborate with colleagues and rotate between 3 Cambridge reception sites as part of a supportive front-of-house team. About You As a receptionist, you will need to have experience of providing high quality customer service. You'll also need to be comfortable using Microsoft Office products. You'll have attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you will have: Customer Service skills Excellent organisational skills.
