We're looking for a dedicated and empathetic High Stability Housing Officer to join our team in Bristol, working within a recovery-focused housing service that helps individuals transition into stable, independent living.
About the Role
As a High Stability Housing Officer, you'll provide tailored support to residents living in supported accommodation, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to maintain long-term tenancies. You'll work closely with individuals who may be overcoming homelessness, addiction, or mental health challenges, guiding them through their journey toward independence.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a keyworker for a small caseload of residents, developing and reviewing personalised support plans
Support clients with daily living skills such as budgeting, cooking, and maintaining their homes
Liaise with external agencies to coordinate care and access services
Promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment within the accommodation
Assist clients in finding and transitioning to move-on housing
Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development
About You
You'll be a compassionate and proactive individual with experience in housing, social care, or support work. You'll have excellent communication skills, a non-judgemental approach, and the ability to build trusting relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
