Interim Management Accountant job Devon Interim Management Accountant Manufacturing SectorLocation: Plymouth (Hybrid Working) Day Rate: Up to £275 per day, depending on experience Hays are working with a well established and growing manufacturing organisation based in the Plymouth area who are seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to support its expanding finance team. As the business continues to scale, additional financial capability is needed to strengthen reporting, analysis, and operational support. This role has arisen due to growth within the finance team, reflecting the organisation s continued expansion and increased operational demands. The Role:You will deliver accurate and insightful management reporting, supporting both the finance function and wider operational teams. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment, providing meaningful financial analysis that helps guide decision making and supports efficiency improvements across the business. Preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis Supporting budgeting cycles and long term financial planning Assistance with year end processes and audit preparation Providing financial insight to operational and senior management teams Supporting process improvements within the finance function Ensuring compliance with financial standards and internal controls Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE Strong experience in producing management accounts Comfortable partnering with non finance stakeholders Hybrid working: 4 days per week on-site in Plymouth, 1 day working from home On site parking available Day rate up to £275 per day depending on experience Opportunity to join a growing organisation at an exciting stage of development #
