3-month initial contract
Onsite working - Banbury
Outside IR35, 45 hrs pw

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a renewable energy specialist, based in Banbury, who are seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team
Job Description
As Quality Engineer, your main responsibilities include:
Project manage the quality aspects to NPI and Prototype manufacture
Governance authority on quality elements of the NPI process, with key focus on Gateway approvals, comprehensive engineering drawings and specifications, and Design Quality methods
Quality methods, for handover to Production
Prototype manufacture and control
V model (validation & verification)
Qualifications / Skills needed
You will have proven experience, gained in a manufacturing quality environment, within the Automotive industry
You will also have experience in the use of business improvement tools and techniques (5s, Lean, Kaizen), and using APQP tools and techniques
Experience in the use of problem resolution tools (8D, 5 Why, 6 Sigma etc.) and techniques is a must, along with proven knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, TS16949 (IATF16949), and ISO14001.
Experienced in the application of quality tools, essential to New Production Introduction - DFMEA, PFMEA and Control Plans
Knowledge and use of statistical analysis and process capability studies, would be beneficial
