Description L&D Consultant 8130 | Maternity cover contract | £42,463 to £46,732 per annum (Scale K) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich The Adults and Children's Workforce Development team is pleased to offer a secondment opportunity for a colleague interested in providing learning and development consultancy to colleagues in Adult Social Services. This post will cover maternity leave within the team. Are you passionate about learning and development and committed to improving adult social care practice? We are looking for a learning and development consultant to implement key learning projects and work with colleagues in Adult Social Services and partner organisations to deliver programmes to meet the service’s learning needs. The successful candidate will specifically oversee training related to learning disabilities and autism, in line with government guidance and best practice. We require someone: with an extensive knowledge and experience of Adult Social Services who can work autonomously and under their own drive who has excellent teamwork, networking and communication skills with the skills to identify future learning needs and organise projects from inception to fruition who is keen to develop their understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies This role is being offered as a 12 month secondment/fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
