Description
* Prepare and review financial statements and reports for clients in compliance with regulations.
* Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission to authorities.
* Support senior accountants with audits and other financial reviews.
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
* Liaise with clients to address financial queries and provide advice as needed.
* Monitor budgets and forecasts to provide financial insights.
* Contribute to the development of accounting processes and systems improvements.
* Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations relevant to the professional services industry.
Profile
A successful Semi-Senior Accountant should have:
* A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Be at least AAT qualified.
* Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally within professional services.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.
