To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team, and right now we are looking to recruit for a Receptionist to join our team.
As the Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your role is to provide concise customer information and service with regards to the facility and its offerings. The role will involve a high level of customer interaction, which will be face to face, emails and dealing with queries over the telephone. In addition, there will be times when you will be required to assist other members of staff.
Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust.
The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Oswestry Leisure Centre pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when needed.
Responsibilities
* Deal with customers face to face, via email and over the telephone, providing concise information and service about the facility and its offerings.
* Maintain high levels of customer interaction and assist other staff as required.
* Handle cash and maintain customer records; ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
* Demonstrate good communication and customer care skills, remain calm under pressure, and use IT systems confidently.
* Support the team to help deliver a safe, friendly and professional environment.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience dealing face to face with customers in a busy environment; sales experience is desirable.
* Good communication and customer care skills.
* Ability to handle cash and maintain customer records; good telephone manner.
* Confidence using IT systems; any customer service qualifications are desirable.
