We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Analyst to join a client's dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, technical proficiency, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing timely assistance to end-users, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems.
Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
* Escalate complex problems to the appropriate support teams, ensuring timely resolution.
* Document all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
* Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
* Collaborate with other IT teams to identify and implement solutions to recurring issues.
* Keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in IT support.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a help desk or service desk environment.
* Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
