BMW Group – Retailer Marketing Apprentice, Level 6 Apprenticeship – August 2026
To support the Retailer Marketing team at MINI UK and the 121 MINI UK Retailers outlets, contributing directly to the development and delivery of the Retailer Marketing Strategy. To assist with campaign planning, asset approval, agency and supplier coordination, performance tracking and retailer communications for all sales channels; Retail, Motability, Corporate and Financial services.
What awaits you?
1. Assisting the Retailer Marketing team in Farnborough, who support 121 MINI UK Retailers, working with our Retailer Marketing Agency on campaign planning and management, asset approval and retailer communications.
2. Supporting the Retailer Marketing Manager with ideas to create clear and inspiring briefs for agencies.
3. Ensuring the Brand Tone of voice and MINI Brand CI is retained by Retailers working closely with the Retailer Marketing Service team at the agency.
4. Support with lead generation and performance tracking by reviewing Marketing Plan activities and joining reporting calls.
5. Working with the wider Marketing team to ensure consistent alignment across both National and Retailer Marketing.
6. Support in creation of assets that are valuable to the Retailers for their local marketing.
7. Assist with our Marketing Communications both internally and externally to Retailers.
8. Liaising with several agencies to coordinate on campaigns and hit deadlines.
What should you bring along?
9. A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 6 (or above), including Maths and English.
10. Plus, a minimum of 2 A-Levels (or equivalent) at Grade B (or above) or equivalent BTEC Level 3 in a relevant discipline.
11. Candidates will need to be enthusiastic and well-disciplined.
12. Excellent communication skills – whether in person, on the phone or written - are essential.
13. Consistent and reliable attention to detail.
14. Demonstrable interest towards a career in communications, marketing and/or PR.
15. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required.
16. It will be necessary to exhibit initiative and a conscientious attitude throughout the interview process.
What we offer?
Whilst developing on-the-job knowledge, the successful candidates will also undertake a fully funded study toward the attainment of a BA (Hons) in Management and Business, through the attendance at Abingdon & Witney College (affiliated with Oxford Brookes University).
