Description Position at Resolver Leeds/Hybrid. The role: The Financial Analyst will support the Senior FP&A Manager driving FP&A across the business to maximize business performance. As a Financial Analyst at Resolver, the successful postholder will have a variety of responsibilities, including assisting the Senior FP&A Manager in producing quarterly re-forecasts and the annual budget, helping to maintain complex financial models, preparing monthly/quarterly reporting and providing quality analysis to support Department Leaders in interpreting their financial performance. Responsibilities: Assists in preparing the annual budget (P&L, B/S, Cash flow and Capital Budget). Collaborates, questions, and challenges Department and Division budget owners to complete accurate forecasts supported by commentaries and business insights. Assists in preparing quarterly reforecasts (P&L, B/S, Cash flow and Capital spend). Assist in maintaining existing financial models to drive quantitative insights to support business decisions and/or opportunities assessment. Understands the workings of the ERP system and maximizes the reporting functionality of the system. Assist in the preparation of month end reporting for 4 Divisions and Consolidated. Ownership of Financial Metrics reporting including Customer Gross Margin Reporting, identifying trends and supporting stakeholders in interpreting the numbers. Ownership of Department variance reporting packs and monthly reviews with stakeholders. Ownership of reconciliation to Group Reporting, ensuring allocations from Group are understood and aligned within internal reporting. Works cross-functionally to assist in various financial and reporting projects while ensuring that best practices of corporate standards and policies are complied with. Measures of success: Ownership of activities needed to achieve positive outcomes; delivery based on an evaluation of priorities. Ability to adjust outputs when necessary to meet the requirements of the situation with minimal personal resistance. Deals constructively with changing environments in response to feedback and experience. Ability to express oneself clearly (verbal and written) in a manner that facilitates positive results. An ability to identify the root cause of situations, as well as contributing factors in order to solve a problem in a logical and systematic manner. Essential qualifications and experience: Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) preferred but not essential. Up to 1-2 years proven work experience in a similar role. Advanced in MS excel and knowledge of MS Office suite. Experience creating management reports using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an asset. Experience with Sage Intacct, MS Dynamics and/or Financial Force (accounting software) and Salesforce is an asset. Experience with Adaptive Planning and/or other planning tools is an asset.
