About the Day Unit & Education Team The CYPMH Day Unit provides assessment and treatment of the mental health needs for children and young people. The education provision at the Day Unit is provided by Lancashire Hospital Education Services (LHES). The LCC Education Team, as part of the Day Unit, works closely with clinical colleagues to deliver statutory Section 19 education. We offer a structured daily timetable and some outreach work, provided by support staff, focusing on re-integration. Pupils are mainly of secondary age, of the full ability range and remain on-roll at their home schools.
