We are currently seeking a BSL Teaching Assistant to support students with hearing impairments within a mainstream school setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of BSL Level, with preference given to those holding BSL Level 2 or higher. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to hearing-impaired students across KS1 to KS4 Facilitate communication using BSL in the classroom and during school activities Assist in the delivery of tailored learning programmes and interventions Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have: BSL Level 1 (essential); Level 3 (desirable) Experience supporting deaf or hearing-impaired children Understanding of the educational needs of students with sensory impairments A positive, patient, and flexible approach Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) Ready to Apply?
