About Our Client
Our client is a well-established organisation within the financial service and automotive sector. This medium-sized company operates across various markets and is known for its focus on innovation and operational excellence.
Job Description
3. Drafting, negotiating and advising on a variety of commercial agreements.
4. Providing legal advice on a range of issues, including but not limited to the cost-effective resolution of contentious matters.
5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners.
6. Identifying legal risks and communicating these to the Executive for risk acceptance in accordance with established procedures.
7. Advising on operational and related issues and providing pragmatic advice on ongoing ad-hoc queries.
8. Assisting in the management of other areas including disputes, employment, approving marketing materials, IP and IT
9. Liaising with external advisors as appropriate
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Counsel should have:
10. UK/IRE Qualified with a minimum of 2 years PQE with in commercial law.
11. Commercial contracts experience, ideally in- house
12. Strong commercial acumen and pragmatism;
13. A highly pro-active attitude - a self-starter;
14. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, take initiative and produce work to tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail;
15. Strong relationship building skills;
16. An understanding of the financial services industry would be beneficial, although this is not essential.

17. Competitive salary of approximately £60,000 to £63,000 per annum. DOE
