UK Sales Director

MacGregor Black are partnering with a global market leading DIY brand, on the search for a UK Sales Director.
As Sales Director, you will be Reporting to the Business Directors with the main duties and responsibilities for driving and sustaining sales activities while building strategic relationships with key U.K. customers. It involves working closely with merchant teams and overseeing all sales-related responsibilities and activities. Additionally, the role contributes to the development of annual and long-term sales and marketing plans, as well as strategies related to advertising, sales promotions, merchandising concepts, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead account management for major U.K. retailers and key U.K. accounts, establishing a best-in-class program for the customer and the business.
* Develop sales plans with input from the Director of International Sales and implement in a timely and cost-efficient manner to exceed customer expectations.
* Develop relationships with the buying and support teams that facilitate trust and open dialogue.
* Lead the U.K. team and develop close relationships with internal global teams.
* Lead negotiations for rebates, supplier agreements, price increases, and fines with customers.
* Collaborate with customers and internal teams to determine accurate forecasting and inventory availability.
* Identify opportunities at existing and new customers for growth in the U.K. market.
* Monitor and communicate market trends and competitor activity to support strategy.
* Provide regular reviews of sales metrics and overall activities to senior leadership and customers.
* Respond quickly and efficiently to requests from buyers and other stakeholders internally and externally.
* Other duties and project work as assigned.
