The Opportunity:
We are seeking an MEP Digital Engineering Design / BIM Coordinator to join the Crown House Technologies MEICA Digital Design Centre, based at one of our head offices in Manchester, Leeds, or Dartford.
The Digital Design Centre provides the capability to fully engineer projects before on-site work, ensuring optimized solutions, technical excellence, maximized use of offsite products, reduced waste, and enhanced delivery efficiency. All engineers are part of our Engineering Enterprise, aligned with our strategy to maximize DfMA, Digital Engineering, and Early Engagement.
What will the role look like?
* Reviewing design information for completeness and compliance with contractual obligations, considering programme, buildability, safety, maintenance, and technical suitability.
* Implementing processes for the production, control, and distribution of design information at various project stages.
* Reporting on design progress, including production, coordination, and interfaces, against timelines.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
* Contractor side experience in MEP Digital Design / BIM Coordination and DfMA.
* First degree in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, MEP, MEICA, or a related construction or design field, or an industry-recognized technical or engineering qualification (NVQ level 4) with relevant experience.
* Experience working with design consultant teams.
* Knowledge of various building materials and techniques.
