About the role:
As the Senior Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth in the UK. This role will require strategic sales responsibilities. Your expertise in the NHS and / or private healthcare sector, coupled with a consultative sales approach, will be essential in positioning Aexis as a trusted partner within the healthcare industry. Key responsibilities include:
* Proactively target, source, identify, and qualify sales opportunities, focusing on new customer acquisition and existing customer upselling.
* Leverage in-depth knowledge of Aexis’s (SaaS) solutions for operating rooms, endoscopy, sterilisation, and logistics, as well as insights into NHS and/or private healthcare market trends.
* Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using various prospecting methods, including networking, partnerships, and referrals.
* Sell the full Aexis product portfolio to both existing and new customers, ensuring thorough self-learning and upskilling to achieve sales certifications and quota attainment.
* Conduct needs assessments and deliver customised product demonstrations, presentations, and meetings tailored to prospective and existing customers.
* Manage formal bid processes, including the response to RFPs
* Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activities, providing strategic insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
* Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to the Belgian management.
* Manage and coordinate all executed sales activities while maintaining and nurturing client relationships
About you:
We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven individual with:
* Substantial experience in a consultative sales approach, ideally within the healthcare industry, SaaS, or related sectors.
* Extensive knowledge of the NHS and/or private healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of market trends and stakeholder needs.
* Capable of talking to different levels in the hospital: from users (practical) to directors (strategical)
* Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and building a strong sales pipeline.
* Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with a track record of successful deal closures.
* Robust qualification, questioning, and listening skills, combined with the ability to explore and create customer needs.
* Self starter mentality, entrepreneurial approach. Ready to be part of a start up journey, backed by a more established Belgian company
* A growth mindset and the ability to engage with stakeholders across all organisational levels, including C-Level executives.
* The ability to thrive independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ambitious and capable of pulling the weight of a “startup”
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
