Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Deputy Manager / Nursing Home Deputy Manager:
Lead all aspects of clinical care across the nursing home
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and national healthcare standards
Provide mentorship and direction to nursing and care teams
Develop and manage person-centred care plans
Work collaboratively with GPs, specialists, and allied healthcare professionals
Monitor health outcomes and respond swiftly to changes in residents’ conditions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
Act as the senior leader in the absence of the Home Manager
What We’re Looking For in a Clinical Deputy Manager / Nursing Home Deputy Manager:
Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
Prior experience in a leadership role such as Clinical Deputy Manager / Nursing Home Deputy Manager within an elderly care or nursing home setting
A solid understanding of CQC standards and clinical governance
Strong leadership and communication skills
A proactive, compassionate, and resident-focused approach
