 
         Corporate Finance Executive – BHP Deal Advisory  We’re looking for a Corporate Finance Executive to join our new BHP Deal Advisory service line in Sheffield. The Role:  We are looking for a qualified Corporate Finance Executive to join our team and play a key role in our new Deal Advisory service line. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team at the start of its journey and help shape the way we work moving forward.   There will be lots to get involved with in this role, but examples of what you’ll be working on are: Preparation of financial reports and analysis to assist with appraisal of historic and forecast information Support coordination of due diligence processes, liaising with other financial, tax and legal advisors Provide well researched insight and sector knowledge to assist partner/director in advising clients on deal strategy Support in preparing pitch / fee proposal documents  Whether you’re looking to deepen your specialism or take that first step into the world of Corporate Finance, we’ll back you every step of the way.  The Team: Our Deal Advisory service line will undertake a variety of work, providing value added corporate finance advice to clients during mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions (typically ‘bi-lateral’ deals), fundraising and management buy outs. This will include developing new business from both existing BHP clients and potential new clients.  To thrive in this role, you’ll need: ACA or ACCA qualified, with post qualification experience Experience of colleague supervision and coaching, including ability to plan workflows Strong data analytic skills – ability to analyse and interpret financial and commercial information Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Good written skills – ability to write clearly and persuasively Confident communicator – ability to communicate with clients about their business Inquisitive mindset – naturally curious with a desire to learn Ability to work to deadlines – willingness to work beyond standard hours when required Ability to organise and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes An interest in developing a peer network amongst intermediaries (law firms, banks, private equity houses etc)  Whilst not essential, it would be great if you have: At least 1 year of post qualification professional experience Corporate finance, deal, or advisory experience  We don’t expect you to tick every box.
