Front of House Co‑ordinator
Location: Whitchurch Swimming and Fitness Centre (SY13 1BA) and Market Drayton Swimming and Fitness Centre, Shropshire (TF9 1JT)
Salary: £27,839.67 per annum, plus excellent benefits
Schedule: 37 hours per week working across both sites – pre‑scheduled shifts Monday to Sunday, with flexibility to cover shifts when required.

What you’ll do as a Front of House Co‑ordinator
* Lead and promote all commercial and bookable activities across both centres, including holiday clubs, parties and events.
* Market activities internally and externally, ensuring enquiries and leads are followed up and converted.
* Manage administration and invoicing linked to activities and events, keeping records accurate and up to date.
* Deliver agreed event volumes and commercial targets in line with contract budgets.
* Drive health and fitness sales while supporting retention of the existing membership base.
* Oversee and enhance children’s activities and learn‑to‑swim programmes, reviewing feedback and implementing improvements.
* Deliver activity numbers for swimming lessons, parties and holiday clubs in line with agreed targets.
* Support recruitment, induction and training of play‑scheme leaders, party hosts and reception colleagues.
* Organise and deliver training sessions throughout the year to build capability and confidence across the team.
* Manage the reception team day to day, providing guidance, coaching and hands‑on support while reporting directly to the Facility Manager.
Do you have what it takes?
* Strong knowledge of children’s activities and customer‑facing leisure services.
* Experience leading by example and supporting colleagues through coaching and training.
* Confidence managing sales activity across multiple sites.
* Excellent leadership skills, with a calm, organised and people‑focused approach.
* Strong personal motivation, integrity, and a flexible mindset.
* Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to a varied working pattern, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
* Willingness to work across multiple sites to support service delivery and community engagement.
