The Role: Maintenance Engineer (Dual Skilled)
Location: Antrim
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Hours: Day and Evening Shift (No Nights)
We're delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing company in Antrim who are seeking to add a Dual Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their team. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that invests heavily in its people, equipment, and processes.
The Role
* Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation faults to minimise downtime.
* Support continuous improvement projects and reliability initiatives.
* Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to the development of PM schedules.
The Person
* Time-served or qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Strong multi-skilled background with experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (FMCG experience advantageous).
* Confident in fault finding on PLC-controlled systems and electrical installations.
* Proactive approach with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
