THE EMPLOYER IS: IRWIN M&E LTDThe Office Administrator will play a vital role in the smooth operation of the business, providing administrative support across departments including Accounts and Service. The role will involve maintaining accurate records, supporting service delivery and performance targets, assisting with job coordination, and responding to enquiries in a professional and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be well organised, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities, with on-the-job training provided to support continued development within the role.
Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative support across the office.
* Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
* Manage incoming and outgoing post and emails.
* Carry out data entry and maintain basic records and files.
* Assist with filing (paper and electronic).
* Support colleagues with routine office tasks.
* Help prepare documents, spreadsheets, and reports.
* Maintain tidy office areas and assist with general office organisation.
* Carry out any other reasonable administrative duties as required.
Skills and Qualifications
* Ability to be organised and work as part of a team.
* Good Knowledge of MS Excel are required.
* Excellent verbal and communication skills are required.
* Strong numeracy skills with good attention to detail.
* Able to adhere to deadlines.
* Confident telephone manner.
