Logistics Administrator (Nights) Required
Riverside Recruitment is proud to be working with our valued client to recruit a Logistics Route Planner to join their fast-paced transport team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone organised, proactive, and confident working in a busy logistics environment.
About the Role:
As a key part of the transport operation, you’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating delivery routes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellent service. This is a hands-on role where no two nights are the same. You’ll be problem-solving, communicating with drivers, and keeping operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Plan and schedule daily delivery routes efficiently
* Maximise vehicle capacity and optimise routes
* Brief drivers and provide clear instructions and paperwork
* Monitor live deliveries and respond quickly to any issues or changes
* Work closely with the wider transport team and management
* Support compliance, investigations, and operational improvements
* Handle driver queries and support with people-related matters
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in transport planning, routing, or coordination (preferred)
* Strong knowledge of UK geography and routing
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt quickly
* A proactive, team-focused approach

Working Hours & Pay:
22:00 – 06:30
40 hours per week contract.
Up to £34,673.60 per annum
The site is operational Monday - Saturday.
