Role overview
We are home to many ex-teachers and education professionals managing assessments for qualifications such as Cambridge IGCSE, O Level, and Cambridge International A Level.
You will be a subject specialist in Chemistry, responsible for ensuring the quality and fairness of assessments. Your tasks will include:
1. Overseeing the production of question papers, ensuring accuracy and error-free content.
2. Ensuring question papers are comparable across series, years, and are fair to candidates from diverse backgrounds.
3. Setting grade thresholds.
4. Collaborating with stakeholders and assessment specialists.
5. Managing examiner teams and contributing to capacity building.
6. Working with international ministry partners to develop and revise syllabuses.
Candidate requirements
Applicants should have a degree in Chemistry or a related subject, with classroom experience or subject expertise. An understanding of project management or assessment in education is desirable. Skills required include:
* Excellent written and spoken English.
* Strong time management and planning skills.
* Effective interpersonal skills.
* A collaborative approach to teamwork.
