Your new role
As a Trainee QS, you'll work closely with experienced professionals to learn the ropes of cost management and project delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions
Supporting the management of subcontractor packages and valuations
Monitoring project budgets and financial performance
Attending site visits and progress meetings
Learning to interpret drawings and specificationsWhat you'll need to succeed
A keen interest in construction and commercial management
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Studying towards or interested in pursuing a relevant qualification (e.g., HNC, degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management)What you'll get in return
