As per of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for delivering prompt and efficient telephone service by maintaining the highest standards of guest and customer care and service at all times.
Your main duties involve answering incoming and placing outgoing calls; taking messages. A professional, courteous, and confident telephone manner is essential for this position as is a true passion for customer service. As all duties are to be carried out in accordance to set procedures and standards, attention to detail is vital.
The hours of work are on a shift basis five days out of seven including mornings, evenings, and weekends
As a Switchboard Operator you will be managing our hotel switchboard and dealing with all internal and external calls in a professional and efficient manner. Whilst handling a range of matters, you will offer exceptional attention to detail in hotel services knowledge and convey the appropriate tone and warmth in all communications.
As Switchboard operator your duties will include:
Responsible for the speedy and courteous answering of the incoming calls both internal and external in a warm and friendly tone.
Handling all basic requests for Front Desk, Guest Relations or Concierge.
Passing guest requests to other departments
Placing F&B bookings in the system when requested by the guest or Reception/Concierge
Ensure that all requests are handled in a timely manner and to follow up with the guest ensuring satisfaction in service provided.
Ensure all wakeup calls are given on time
Updating reg cards
Previous Hilton experience is a plus
