Engineering Technician - Electrical Bias (Milton Keynes)\n\nReady to level up your engineering career in the fast-paced world of food manufacturing?\n\nIf you're an electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer who thrives on solving problems at the source, loves a challenge and lives for continuous improvement, this could be your next big move.\n\nDo you get a buzz from diagnosing faults, driving innovation and making real, lasting improvements? Do you value teamwork, forward thinking and being part of a business that's always evolving?\n\nYou will be working a Monday-Friday, double days shift pattern. There's an excellent package on offer, which includes: \n\n* Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + package: \no Enhanced holiday entitlement (15% above industry average)\no Private medical cover for you and your loves ones\no Life insurance 4x annual salary.

\n\nWorking closely with the Automation and Production teams, you will implement new technologies to minimise downtime, improve plant performance and ensure that this modern food processing site always runs optimally, as well as:\n\n* Performing regular equipment inspections, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs while keeping accurate records.\n* Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.\n* Implementing preventative maintenance and working with automation partners to avoid recurring issues.\n* Supporting FAT, SAT and installation activities, including occasional travel to Europe.\n* Training and assisting operators on equipment use and maintenance.\n* Managing spare parts inventory and ordering replacements as needed.\n* Collaborating with Automation Engineering to improve systems and introduce new technologies.\n* Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and addressing potential hazards.\n\nYou'll thrive in a high-performance environment, driven by a strong desire for excellence. You're not afraid to think outside the box and take ownership of your work. If you're excited about setting ambitious goals and believe great results come from innovation and teamwork, you'll fit right in.\n\nYou must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (ideally, apprentice trained) and have previous food/FMCG experience (food, drink, pharmaceutical/health care, baby products, pet food, packaging, cosmetics etc.).
