✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Deputise for the Night First Line Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations and effective decision‑making.
* Carry out office, administrative, and stock‑checking duties in a timely and professional manner under the direction of the Admin & Planning Manager.
* Adhere to Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and all defined quality standards at all times.
* Communicate effectively with external Micheldever depots and the Micheldever Stock Allocation team to support operational requirements.
* Liaise daily with delivery drivers to ensure clear communication and smooth operational flow.
* Ensure full compliance with company health and safety policies and maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
* Immediately report all personnel‑ or equipment‑related accidents to the Team Leader on duty.
* Proactively report any near‑miss incidents that could have resulted in personal injury or equipment damage to the Team Leader on duty.
* Ensure all administrative documentation is completed accurately and to the required standards.
* Maintain strict adherence to DHL and customer quality standards at all times.

* Experience working within a transport office environment.
* Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Strong commitment to working safely and in line with health and safety procedures.
* Accurate processing and completion of operational paperwork as required.
* Confident use of IT systems to support administrative and operational tasks.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
* Demonstrated ability to multitask while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
