Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician
Location: Colchester, CO4
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (Depending on experience & qualifications) + up to £500 weekly bonus
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm (optional Saturdays 9:00am–12:30pm)
Our client, a reputable automotive business with four successful garages in Colchester, is expanding their team and looking to recruit two Motor Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics. Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles
Diagnose faults accurately using appropriate tools and equipment
Conduct routine inspections and identify any additional work required
Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
Work efficiently to meet individual performance targets
Requirements
Experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic (any level considered) and have your own tools and a full and valid driving licence
Time-served technicians also welcome
Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications beneficial but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic with good time-management skills
A positive attitude toward meeting targets and achieving bonuses
