An exciting opportunity for an ambitious Real Estate Analyst to join a leading, well capitalised and growing UK industrial property developer and investment manager. With a track record in delivering innovative industrial property schemes, the business operates nationally, with multiple offices and a growing development and investment portfolio backed by institutional investment partners.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the Development and Investment Management teams across a broad range of financial and strategic activities.
Responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, updating, and reviewing detailed development appraisals and models.
* Supporting the development funding processes including preparation of equity and debt reports.
* Monitoring cost trackers, managing drawdowns, and flagging cost overruns.
* Reviewing financial covenants and assisting with bank reporting.
* Preparing internal Board presentations and contributing to strategic decision-making.
* Assessing financial strength of potential tenants and contractors.
* Supporting sustainability reporting across developments.
* Managing key databases to track site activity and occupier interest.
* Assisting with bids and preparing early-stage presentations for new site opportunities.
* Conducting market research and supporting the team with financial analysis for ongoing and prospective developments.
* Attending site visits and industry events as required.
Skills
The ideal candidate will be numerate, analytical, and commercially astute, with a strong interest in property development and investment. Key requirements include:
* 2-4 years of relevant experience in real estate, development finance, or a related field.
* Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle complex datasets.
* A proactive, driven attitude with a desire to learn and take ownership.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
* Knowledge of development finance structures and property investment principles.
