An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Development Assistant to join the Council’s Workforce team. This role provides essential support to the delivery of high‑quality learning and development across the organisation, helping employees develop the skills and knowledge they need to deliver excellent services.
You will play a key role in coordinating training activity, supporting apprenticeships and work placements, maintaining learning systems and training records, and producing meaningful reports to inform workforce development.
You will be well organised, confident in working with data and systems, and have strong administrative and communication skills. Experience of coordinating training or working in a learning, HR or workforce environment would be an advantage, along with the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
