* Assist in the development of reports to committees, business cases, external funding bids and Project Initiation Documents.
* Communicate information, project updates and expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion, including engaging presentations.
* Deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with business procedures.
* Develop a professional network to maintain a high profile for Gleeds and generate new business.

Qualifications and Experience

* A relevant degree qualification or equivalent (or >5 years of suitable experience within a similar role).
* Experience in a project role such as employer’s representative, project manager or project team member.
* Understanding of regeneration issues and related policy fields in physical development, regeneration and project delivery.

* Experience engaging with key stakeholders such as the public, local Councillors, property owners, investors and grant funders.
* Knowledge of commissioning external consultants and contractors and an understanding of public procurement regulations.
* Understand basic budget monitoring involved in project development and delivery; knowledge of Local Authority processes is desirable but not essential.

Demonstrable skills

* Critical thinking and problem solving, planning, organising and time management, decision-making, and clear communication (oral and written).
* Good organisational skills, adaptability, and the ability to work as part of a team; able to influence, negotiate and manage risk.
