Recruitment Coordinator

REED Business Support are representing our client who are seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in recruitment support within an HR department, and who possesses a basic understanding of employment law as it relates to recruitment and selection. Day-to-day of the role:
* Handle telephone calls with hiring managers and candidates, ensuring clear and professional communication.
* Manage the resourcing mailbox, responding to candidate queries and providing timely support.
* Contact candidates to arrange interviews and book assessments, coordinating schedules efficiently.
* Escalate complex problems to recruitment advisors to ensure they are addressed promptly.
* Carry out ad-hoc administrative tasks as required to support the recruitment process.
* Maintain accurate digital filing systems, ensuring all recruitment documentation is stored securely and is easily accessible.
* Monitor managers attendance at events, contact those who have responded, and organise participation.
* Send placeholders to managers and support with the organisation of these events.
* Add interview schedules to Workday and ensure all involved parties are informed.
* Track candidate attendances and confirm details to managers, including making phone calls the day before interviews.
* Score and shortlist early careers candidates, contributing to the selection process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a recruitment support role within an HR department, with exposure to recruitment being a significant advantage.
* Basic understanding of employment law as it relates to recruitment and selection.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
* Proven experience using MS Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* High standard of English and Maths.
