Field Care Coordinator / Supervisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Care Coordinator / Supervisor to join a well-established specialist home Care support service provider covering Cheltenham, Gloucester and Stroud area. The Field Care Coordinator / Supervisor responsibilities will include:
Based in the community supervisions and daily monitoring of the care visits
Participate in the on-call rota alongside your Care Coordinator
Communicate with all relevant contacts regarding the customers social care and well-being team
Take on new clients & assessing their care needs of clients
As and when required deliver care and promote a caring environment for Service Users through high standards of professional practice, which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the Service Users.
To ensure that each Service User receives care appropriate to their individual needs
Coordinate staff rotas and manage sickness and holidays
Liaise with partner agencies such as social workers and doctors
Supervising staff, perform supervisions and appraisals of staff
Induct new clients and carry out assessments
Provide emergency relief to cover care calls
Provide a high- quality home support service to service users when required.
The essential qualities for the Field Care Coordinator / Supervisor are:
Previous experience working in the domiciliary care sector essential
Excellent administration skills
Ability to work well under stress
Analytical, attention to detail and ability to work own initiative
Excellent customer service skills
IT proficient and able to use computerised roster systems e.g CM2000
Knowledge of Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tewkesbury and surrounding areas
Field Care Coordinator /Supervisor will spend approximately 50% of their working week in the field in the community with the remaining 50% being spent to complete the necessary administrative duties.
Immediate Start available for the successful Field Care Coordinator.
Must be a Driver and have access to a Car.
