Job Purpose:
We're looking for an Account Manager (AM) with a real drive and enthusiasm. Their main role is to manage existing clients and generate growth within accounts base. The AM will be responsible for effectively managing these clients and acting as the link between the sales team and the operational side of the business.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Take ownership and leadership of your job(s) from an Account Management perspective.
* Support the Account Director in achieving targets that contribute to the overall company goals.
* Ensure quality control in terms of equipment specification.
* Maintain operational efficiency and achieve correct Gross Margins.
* Develop new business, retain and grow relationships with key clients.
* Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
* Liaise directly with customers on and off-site.
* Visit clients regularly.
* Work weekends as required.
* Work sustainably and within the company's approach.
* Deliver all set KPIs.
* Report figures weekly and on a six-month pipeline.
* Understand the DBpixelhouse quoting system and sales administration.
* Maintain company Gross Margin across all projects quoted.
Key Personal Attributes:
* Knowledge and interest in the AV market.
* Experience with exhibitions and events.
* Ensure all customer details and needs are met and exceeded, with a strong focus on 'client focus'.
* Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain credibility with senior internal and external contacts.
* Ability to make key commercial decisions to meet both external and internal budgets.
* Ability to work under pressure and stay upbeat in difficult circumstances.
