Overview
Are you searching for a rewarding and fulfilling position that supports your local community? Are you available during school term times to join Lincolnshire County Council as a School Crossing Patrol Officer? If you are passionate about promoting active travel and contributing to community safety, consider joining our Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership Team on Wainfleet Road, Burgh Le Marsh. In this part-time role (working 6.6 hours per week during term time, working 40 minutes at the beginning and 40 minutes at the end of the school day), you will be fully trained to manage traffic professionally and make a positive impact in the community, crossing families at a designated crossing point. Each day, you will play a crucial role in helping to keep children safe during their journeys to and from school.
The role offers an outdoors-focused environment; you will arrive on time at the beginning and the end of the school day, support and communicate with children, drivers, parents, teachers and even say hello to the odd furry friend. You will be provided with an eye-catching uniform to keep you safe, visible, warm and dry. Join our team and enjoy competitive hourly rates, access to a comprehensive rewards and benefits package, and the opportunity to contribute to a safer school community and environment.
You can apply online for this role or pick up an application form from St Peter's and St Paul's Primary School, Wainfleet Road, Burgh Le Marsh. If applying by paper application, please submit the form back to the school before the stated closing date.
