The Opportunity
An established and fast-growing consultancy in Plymouth is looking for a driven Project Manager to join their expanding team. You'll work closely with Directors and Senior Surveyors, delivering an exciting mix of projects across:
* Residential
* Commercial
* Healthcare
* Heritage & conservation
* Public sector
From modern housing developments to complex refurbishments, heritage restorations and distressed project turnarounds - no two days will be the same.
This is a role where you'll be trusted, supported and challenged, with genuine responsibility from day one.
What you'll be doing as the Project Manager:
* You'll be at the heart of project delivery, leading schemes from concept to completion and acting as a trusted advisor to clients
* Lead projects end-to-end - on time, on budget and to high-quality standards
* Be the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
* Develop and manage programmes, budgets and risk registers
* Carry out technical due diligence and condition surveys
* Prepare reports, project documentation and funding applications
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, consultants and contractors
* Provide hands-on technical input across design, procurement and delivery
* Support turnaround of distressed or complex projects
* Represent the business at networking and professional events
What they're looking for:
* You're proactive, technically strong and enjoy problem-solving in a collaborative environment.
* 3+ years' experience in project management and/or building surveying
* Consultancy background preferred
* Experience across public and private sector projects
* Pre- and post-contract experience
* APC completed or nearing completion
* Confident, sociable and team-oriented
* Happy to travel to project sites as required
