The School of ESOL, Adult and Community is looking for an experienced lecturer in digital skills. You will be joining a dynamic and enthusiastic team providing high quality teaching and learning at our Luton Campus.
Due to the nature of delivery, you will be expected to have experience in teaching basic digital skills to a range of adult learners for who Englishis their second language.
Experience of delivering to mixed level classes would be an advantage as the role covers a range of levels from Entry 1 to Level 2. You will also have course leadership responsibilities for the digital skills element of the course so you will be planning, delivering, assessing and tracking learners’ progress. If successful you will need to be available to teach over 3 days, Tuesday – Thursday.
You will be well qualified and experienced in your professional field, and ideally you will hold a teaching qualification. We are looking for tutors who are student centred, with the drive to get the job done with integrity and a high standard of quality.
Applicants must be strong team players and individuals with a pro-active approach to work. Experience of working with ESOL learners would be an advantage. The successful candidates must also promote, support and embed English and Maths skills in the delivery of lessons. You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role.
