Internal Sales Representative Location: Chipping Sodbury Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 depending on experience plus bonus As a key member of the Internal Sales team, you will proactively contribute to achieving budgeted volume, revenue, market share, and business profit targets. This role involves managing and developing new and existing customers, supporting internal and external sales functions, and helping us achieve our goal of growing sales, improving quality, reducing complaints, and becoming our customers' supplier of choice. Key Accountabilities Customer Management & Sales Growth Generate, progress, and develop new business leads and opportunities in line with sales KPI objectives Manage allocated customers through regular personal contact via telephone, meeting KPI targets Analyse business data and sales leads to ensure maximum market coverage Use ABI sales leads and marketing intelligence to track projects and identify quotation opportunities Quotations & Pricing Provide accurate and efficient quotations, meeting agreed deadlines Follow up targeted quotations to secure business in liaison with external sales teams Maintain correct pricing for agreed customers and specific schedules Price work within agreed parameters, referring to senior managers as required Conduct pre-invoice checks to prevent price queries Account Management & Compliance Proactively manage customer accounts, including credit limits and terms Ensure all new account applications are completed accurately and followed up appropriately Record won/lost and tendered work to maximise market knowledge Deal with customer enquiries and complaints professionally Promote branded products and liaise with technical support where necessary Support field sales teams when required What We're Looking For Strong communication and relationship-building skills Proven ability to manage customer accounts and deliver against sales targets Commercial awareness and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams Knowledge of construction materials (desirable) What We Offer Competitive salary A key role within a dynamic and supportive sales team Opportunities for career development within Heidelberg Materials Why Join us?
