Job Overview:

We are looking for an Service Manager who is ready to come onboard after successfully passing all compliance checks in line with our policies.

Please Note: Journey Care Is happy to wait for any notice period for the right candidate.

Ideally, the candidate should be competent in the job role with atleast two years experience in a management role. Previous experience with Ofsted would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

* Create and apply personalised care plans for residents based on their specific needs. Encouraging staff and Young People to fulfil enrichment opportunities.

* Ensure the welfare and well-being of the young residents. Ensure that this is a top priorty.

* Stay up to date with all due training for staff at the provision and build this int6o their matrix framework.

* Supervise and assist support staff in providing high-quality care. Also be enthusiastic in leading staff to provide the best care aligning with our mission statement.

* Manage medication administration and maintain precise records.

* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies.

* Oversee daily operations of the care facility, including staffing and budget management. Ensuring all paperwork is checked and complete.

* Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to the staff team.

-Ensure any works needed in the property is reported via maintenance.

* Ensure the home is clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times.

* On call rota (one weekend every 4 weeks)

The Ideal Ofsted Registered Manager will possess:

* Education: Essential NVQ Level 3 in children and young people.

* Preferred Qualification: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People's Residential Management) or equivalent recognised certification.

* DBS clearance required.

* License: Full Driving License.
