SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a male SEN Teaching Assistant to join a pupil referral unit at a college in Brent. This role is ideally suited for a candidate who has experience working with special educational needs (SEN) and can start in September on a full-time, permanent basis.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
* Working with Key stage 3 and Key stage 4.
* Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
* Assist in the development of social skills and positive behaviour management.
* Facilitate inclusive learning experiences and adapt resources to meet the needs of students.
* Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role.
2. Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
