Salary: Up to £42,500 per year

Working Pattern
3 administrative days + 1 shift per week
Includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties (paid allowance)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join a high-quality residential childrens home supporting young people who have experienced trauma and challenging behaviours.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker or Team Leader ready to step up, or an existing Deputy Manager looking to join a supportive, therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Registered/Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
Lead and supervise the staff team to deliver high-quality care
Deputise in the absence of the Home Manager
Ensure care plans are implemented effectively to meet young peoples needs
Contribute to shift planning and staff deployment
Work in partnership with external professionals and agencies
Deliver and support direct work with young people
Lead and participate in MDT (multi-disciplinary) meetings
Provide staff supervision in line with Ofsted standards
Requirements
Essential:
Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in residential childcare
At least 12 months experience working with young people with challenging behaviour (including 6 months at senior level)
Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
Experience acting as an appropriate adult
Minimum age requirement: 21 years
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
