We are now recruiting a Maintenance Assistant to join the team at Kents Hill Park, supporting the smooth operation, safety and presentation of this busy residential and conferencing site.This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a practical skillset and a proactive approach, who takes pride in maintaining high standards and supporting an exceptional guest experience.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site, including bedrooms, public areas and external spacesSupport basic maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, plumbing, electrical checks and general upkeepEnsure all work is completed safely and in line with health & safety regulations and company proceduresConduct routine checks and report any defects or issues promptlyWork closely with operational teams to minimise disruption to guests and eventsMaintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and tidy conditionSupport contractors on site where requiredRespond promptly and professionally to maintenance requestsWho We're Looking ForPrevious experience in a maintenance, facilities or handyman role (preferred but not essential)A good understanding of basic building maintenance and repairsStrong awareness of health & safety practicesA positive, flexible and can-do attitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills and attention to detailFlexible to work shifts as required, including occasional weekendsAbout Levy UKLevy UK is part of Compass Group UK & Ireland and is committed to delivering exceptional experiences through great people.
