The opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity for a new Cataloguer to join the Whisky.Auction team. The fundamental purpose of this role is to ensure efficient and accurate cataloguing of items, products, or materials. You will work closely with the small, tight-knit Whisky.Auction team as well as key contacts in our Warehouse and Delivery teams. The team will train you on all aspects of specialist online spirits auctioneering, including how to inspect and catalogue fine, rare and desirable whiskies and other spirits for sale through the website. The role is based at our head office in Park Royal, so you must be able to commute to this location. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Check items for damage and fitness for sale Catalogue bottles and accessories when they are received Communicate with all customers in a professional manner and escalate any issues to management level if needed Answer calls professionally and transfer queries to the correct department or pass on messages correctly if required Meet and greet customers when delivering items for auction Support the Whisky.Auction stand at shows. You will be someone who is able to maintain accurate records and who thrives in an environment where there are lots of moving parts.
