A long-established, family-run business specialising in Fruit is looking for a dynamic and diligent electrically biased Multi-Skilled Engineer to join its growing Engineering team. The Role You'll support planned, preventative, and routine maintenance across a wide range of machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth, efficient operations across the site. Key Responsibilities: Maintain machinery and equipment to optimum standards through planned maintenance Use fault-finding techniques to respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise downtime Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve reliability and reduce costs Coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance and repairs Manage critical spare parts stock and ordering Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment Keep technical knowledge up to date through training and industry best practice About You: Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent (City & Guilds, HNC/ONC, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition etc.) Strong electrical skills with mechanical experience PLC fault-finding and diagnostic experience Experience with CMMS systems Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and proactive mindset Commitment to high health & safety standards Working Hours: 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern 07:00-19:00 and 12:00-24:00 Benefits Include: Pension scheme Fortnightly pay Learning & development opportunities Discretionary Christmas bonus Free onsite parking Free Wi-Fi And of course… fresh fruit!
