The Role
As a Graduate Communications Integration Engineer, you will support the technical delivery of secure, end‑to‑end radio solutions in a multi‑bearer, mobile environment. Your responsibilities will range from high‑level design through to delivery and transition to service.
Your Responsibilities
* Review designs and validate system requirements, producing test documentation.
* Create and run test plans and schedules, contributing to test strategy decisions.
* Collaborate with QinetiQ teams, customers, and subcontractors to integrate technology into wider systems.
* Identify and resolve technical issues using your knowledge or by seeking assistance from others.
* Produce clear and concise documentation appropriate to the project or recipient.
Essential Experience
* An engineering background with a strong interest in communications.
* Knowledge of communication systems or maritime communication systems.
* Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver demonstrations to customers.
* Ability to work collaboratively within teams to ensure successful system integration.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to convey complex information.
* Proven experience learning new skill sets.
Essential Qualifications
* Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
Employment Details
37 hours per week, based at PTP, Portsmouth. Hybrid working patterns are available.
