Are you ready to begin or develop your Occupational Therapy Career in a supportive and forward-thinking team?
Our post provides the opportunity to gain experience working with people in their own home and community hospital environments across southeast Angus. The caseload is a mix of older adults, physical disability, palliative care and long-term conditions across the adult life span. You will gain experience within in-patient and community rehabilitation, providing a range of interventions including equipment provision and minor/moderate adaptations. We work within multidisciplinary teams within our local communities incorporating physiotherapy, general practice, medicine for the elderly, social work and social care staff and third sector agencies. In addition to enhancing your assessment and intervention skills, you will be joining the service at an exciting time of development.
We have an active in-service training programme; personal and professional development is structured via the TURAS appraisal system. NHS Tayside also supports Flying Start for newly qualified staff.
You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
