We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Banking domain, with mandatory Mortgage experience. The candidate should also be familiar with automation frameworks and concepts, and be hands-on as needed for the project. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and requires flexibility to travel on a need basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
2. Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure software quality.
3. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
4. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the CI/CD pipeline.
6. Lead testing efforts for various projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
7. Oversee creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and scripts.
8. Provide detailed test metrics and reports to stakeholders.
9. Utilize SNOW for tracking and managing testing activities.
10. Implement and maintain testing tools and frameworks.
11. Conduct manual end-to-end business process automation (BPA) testing.
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for comprehensive test coverage.
13. Use Rally, HP ALM, and Jira for test management and defect tracking.
14. Apply basic programming skills to support test automation efforts.
15. Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices.
16. Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities.
17. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers.
18. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing team.
19. Oversee implementation of automated testing frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and Jenkins.
20. Guide and mentor junior quality engineers on testing practices and methodologies.
21. Possess strong experience in Web App testing, Test Metrics, and Reporting.
22. Have domain experience in Mortgage.
23. Proficiency in using SNOW for test management.
24. Expertise in various testing tools and frameworks.
25. Experience in manual end-to-end BPA testing.
26. Skilled in Rally, HP ALM, and Jira for test management.
27. Basic programming knowledge to support automation.
28. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
