The Role We are delighted to be recruiting a Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout our centre. Jubilee House is set in 10 acres, alongside the beautiful River Eamont and provides a peaceful environment for our service users and guests. Your work will directly contribute to creating a warm, hospitable and supportive environment for everyone who stays with us. Responsibilities will include: Lead, support, and develop the Housekeeping Team to deliver high standards of cleanliness and service Plan and manage rotas, workloads, and staffing to ensure efficient service delivery Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation across all areas Provide hands-on support where needed and respond promptly to service user requests Manage stock, suppliers, and resources effectively, ensuring best value Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, risk management, and training requirements About you We are looking for someone who has: Previous housekeeping experience focused on high standards of presentation Excellent team leadership and people management skills, with experience undertaking team meetings and 1:1's. A proactive and hands-on approach, with excellent attention to detail and organisational ability, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Good communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of health & safety and cleaning standards Basic knowledge and confidence using Microsoft Word packages. This role is subject to a Standard and Barring Service (DBS) check.
