Overview

Connective Pharma Ltd is a well‑established wholesaler based in Redhill, supplying a wide range of health products globally to wholesalers, retailers, and e‑commerce customers. Our product range includes leading brands such as Vitabiotics, Seven Seas, Natures Aid, Califig, Minadex and more.


Role Description

This is a full‑time hybrid position based in Redhill, Surrey, for a Head of Sales and Purchasing. The role involves managing and leading the sales and purchasing teams to achieve business objectives.


Responsibilities

* Build a strong GSL business utilising the WDA Licence within 6 months
* Manage a team of 4 in the sales team to achieve profit targets
* Be a subject matter expert in your functional area to ensure a compliant and efficient operation
* Identify and maintain both current and new business opportunities
* Maintain and build strong client relationships
* Analyse market trends to optimise purchasing decisions and develop sales strategies
* Manage set inventory levels effectively, and manage expiry stock
* Source new brands and products to meet customer needs
* Collaborate across departments to meet company targets
* Work closely with RP, ensure due diligence procedures for GSL products
* Actively search for new suppliers/customers to grow the business


Key Capabilities

* At least 6 years of Pharmaceutical/ Wholesale/ Retailer experience, managing a team
* Experience in the health products industry is highly desirable
* Strong sales‑related skills, including business development, client relationship, and sales strategy
* Expertise in purchasing, supplier negotiations, and inventory management
* Analytical and market research skills to identify trends and make data‑driven decisions
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field


Location

Hybrid role: 2 days office in Redhill, 2 days remote at home, 1 day customer/supplier visits.


Working Pattern

Monday to Friday 9 am to 5:30 pm. Office‑based 2 days every week. UK travel required, some overnight stay required.Salary

Dependent on experience
